The Newcastle United squad have been celebrating their Carabao Cup win in Dubai.
After beating Liverpool at Wembley, a lot of Newcastle United players have been on international duty.
Dan Burn made his England debut, while Sandro Tonali scored for Italy. The likes of Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton have also been in action.
But the Toon players who were not called up for international duty jetted off to Dubai, with Eddie Howe’s squad enjoying a warm weather training camp.

Micah Richards links up with Newcastle United’s Carabao Cup winners
The Newcastle United manager will be working hard with his players, but the celebrations have also been continuing after they ended the Magpies’ trophy drought.
That is according to Micah Richards, who has admitted on The Rest Is Football YouTube channel that he spotted some of the Newcastle United players while he was out in Dubai.
“Let’s just say I bumped into a few [of the Newcastle players],” he said.
“I don’t kiss and tell, but Trippier was there. I saw big Pope there. They were having a wonderful time and rightly so. They were buzzing.

“I saw a group of them. I didn’t want to be that groupie that goes over and all of that. But as soon as Trippier saw me he gave me a big hug. He was saying ‘look at me now, you got me out the team at Man City, now I’ve won the league in Spain, I’ve played for England, I’ve won for Newcastle, I’m having the time of my life’.”
Kieran Trippier and Richards came through the Manchester City academy together, but it was the latter who had the more successful career in the North West.
Richards established himself in the Man City first-team, winning a Premier League title and an FA Cup. As for Trippier, he did not make a single appearance for Manchester City at senior level.
Kieran Trippier’s next celebration with Newcastle United
Despite not making the grade at Manchester City, the 34-year-old has gone on to have an outstanding career.
Now it is a career that includes silverware on Tyneside, with Trippier helping Newcastle United win the Carabao Cup.
Trippier was outstanding against Liverpool at Wembley, playing a crucial role in getting over the line. His experience was invaluable, and it was great to see Trippier lift the trophy alongside Bruno Guimaraes and Jamaal Lascelles.
After the Dubai celebrations, next on the agenda is Newcastle United’s event at the Toon Moor.
There will be a parade through the city on March 29th, before supporters congregate on the Town Moor to celebrate Newcastle United winning the Carabao Cup.
