We are still months away from the official opening of the summer transfer window, but several Premier League clubs are already trying to seal some huge deals for next season. Arsenal and Manchester United both appear to have got a significant new boost in the race for Viktor Gyokeres, with the Gunners also still being strongly linked with the likes of Alexander Isak, Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Martin Zubimendi.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has now reportedly agreed to join Real Madrid on a massive contract on a free transfer at the end of the season, leaving Liverpool urgently seeking a swift replacement. They are rumoured to be targeting Jeremie Frimpong, with suggestions that they are close to signing the Bayer Leverkusen star. At least 10 players could apparently leave Manchester United in the summer, with Victor Osimhen among their top striker targets.

The biggest transfer news story of the day undoubtedly concerns Trent Alexander-Arnold, who looks to have finally agreed his high-profile summer move to Real Madrid.
Los Blancos have long since pursued a deal for the England right-back and had multiple bids snubbed in January before continuing their pursuit to line up a free transfer at the end of the season.
Real now look to have achieved the breakthrough with talkSPORT among the outlets reporting that Alexander-Arnold has sealed his massive move to the Bernabeu.
They claim the 26-year-old has agreed a mammoth five-year contract worth in excess of £220,000 per week.

Arsenal and Manchester United have reportedly been handed a key boost in the race to sign Viktor Gyokeres.
The former Coventry striker is in huge demand after a prolific couple of years in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon in which he has scored 83 goals in just 91 appearances so far.
Most of the biggest clubs in Europe have been linked with Gyokeres in recent months in some form or another, though Arsenal and Manchester United - the latter managed by ex-Sporting boss Ruben Amorim - appear to be the two main suitors in the fierce battle for his signature as both seek major forward upgrades this summer.
Reports from Portugal cited by the Daily Mirror now claim that Sporting have agreed with Gyokeres that he will be permitted to depart the Estadio Jose Alvalade if a team offers a transfer fee in the region of £50.2m-£58.5m.

A transfer battle could be brewing between Arsenal and Tottenham over Matheus Cunha.
The Brazilian forward has really caught the eye this season with his performances for Wolves, where had scored 15 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions before receiving a three-match ban that has since been extended to four games.
Arsenal’s new incoming sporting director Andrea Berta previously signed Cunha for Atletico Madrid and really wants to bring both him and Martin Zubimendi to the Emirates Stadium this summer, per GIVEMESPORT.
However, rival reports suggest that north London rivals Tottenham are lining up an ambitious double raid on Wolves worth in excess of £100m to try and sign both Cunha and his midfield compatriot Joao Gomes.

The winger is currently on a season-long loan at Stamford Bridge from Manchester United, where his initially promising form has given way to a prolonged period of indifferent performances.
Chelsea’s loan deal for Sancho included the obligation for a £25m permanent transfer this summer.
However, The Athletic report that the Blues can choose to pay a set fee of £5m to United to not go through with that.

Manchester United have drawn up a summer striker shortlist containing four early names, reports suggest.
The Red Devils are among the Premier League giants crying out for attacking reinforcements for next season amid the struggles of Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund, the latter of whom recently ended his long goal drought.

Juventus sack head coach Thiago Motta
Juventus have confirmed the sacking of head coach Thiago Motta.
Motta was only appointed last summer, having impressed at Bologna, but has lasted just nine months into a three-year contract.
A 3-0 loss at Fiorentina, which followed a 4-0 home defeat by Atalanta, proved to be the final straw for the Juve hierarchy.
Former player Igor Tudor has been appointed as Motta’s replacement, with Juventus sitting fifth in the Serie A standings and 12 points behind leaders Inter Milan.
"Juventus FC announces that it has relieved Thiago Motta of his position as coach of the men's first team," a club statement said.
"Juventus FC also announces that it has entrusted the leadership of the Men's First Team to Igor Tudor who will direct the first training session tomorrow."
