Liverpool have sent scouts to watch Genk attacking midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas, according to reports.
TBRFootball claim that observers were in the stands when the 17-year-old scored in only his second appearance for Greece against Scotland on Sunday evening.
Karetsas started on the right-hand side and he gave Reds left-back Andy Robertson the runaround for most of the night, helping his team to overcome a first-leg deficit to secure their position in Nations League Group B.

The teenager had only received his first cap for his country just days before in the first match versus Scotland.
What do fans need to know about Karetsas?
The midfielder was actually born in Belgium, having come through Genk’s youth ranks before making his senior debut at the back end of last season.
Karetsas has been a regular starter this campaign, having scored 2 goals and contributed 4 assists in 30 appearances.
He only switched his allegiance to Greece earlier this year, having played for Belgium up until Under 21 level.
Liverpool are not the only Premier League club interested
TBRFootball reports that Manchester United and Newcastle also had representatives watching Karetsas at Hampden Park.
They were there to witness him become the youngster scorer in Greece’s history, as he put his country 2-0 up just before half-time.
Karetsas is undoubtedly a player that Arne Slot’s side will keep an eye on going forward based on his display at the weekend. He is a No.10 so he would probably be seen as a replacement for Harvey Elliott if the 21-year-old chooses to leave Anfield.
The Liverpool midfielder has struggled for minutes since Slot’s arrival last summer, having only started 4 times in all competitions.
You would have to say that Karetsas is a bit further back in his development than Elliott, and he may need to improve his goal output to attract formal bids from big clubs.
