Newcastle United are currently well-placed for a return to the Champions League next season following their strong campaign.
Eddie Howe’s side missed out on European football for this season after finishing seventh in the Premier League in 2023-24.
However, the Tyneside club currently sit sixth in the table, one point behind fifth-place Manchester City with a game in hand.
There are expected to be five Champions League spots on offer to top-flight clubs for next season as England are comfortably clear at the top of Uefa’s coefficient rankings.
Former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider he believes Newcastle will qualify for the Champions League due to their remaining fixtures.
The north-east giants play Brentford, Leicester City, Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Ipswich Town, Brighton, Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton in their final 10 games.

Borson previously told Football Insider Newcastle could land a £100million windfall if they qualify for the Champions League this season and perform well in the competition in 2025-26.
Howe’s side have already confirmed their place in the Conference League after beating Liverpool 2-1 in the Carabao Cup final last week.
Newcastle handed boost after Man United and Aston Villa reveal
Borson insisted Newcastle have a “huge” advantage in the race for Champions League football as they face Man United and Villa three days after those sides play in European quarter-finals.
He told Football Insider: “If you look at the fixtures that Newcastle have got, I think Newcastle are going to be in the Champions League next season.
“They have got 10 games left. They have got six at home and they happen to play both Manchester United and Aston Villa three days after the second legs of their critical European games, which is a huge advantage.
“Four of the 10 fixtures are dead rubbers in terms of playing Leicester, Ipswich, Arsenal and Everton. These are games that are largely irrelevant to the teams they’re playing.
“I think they’re going to make the Champions League. They have got a game in hand over most teams around them.
“I think they are most likely, unless they have a huge hangover, to make the Champions League.”
