More Newcastle United games have been moved for TV coverage
Two Newcastle United fixtures have been rearranged for live TV broadcast in the coming weeks as the Magpies launch their Premier League top-five bid.
Eddie Howe's side have five games to land a Champions League spot, with fifth place almost guaranteed to be enough to return to Europe's elite competition. United have regularly featured on the Sky Sports and TNT Sports this season, and the club have confirmed two more games have been switched for live coverage.
Firstly, the home game against Crystal Palace - already rearranged due to Newcastle's participation in the Carabao Cup final - will now be shown live on Sky Sports. The game will remain on Wednesday, April 16, but will kick-off at the slightly earlier time of 7.30pm.
Any fans planning to make the long journey to Brighton at the start of May should note that this game will now take place a day later than originally scheduled. The game will now kick-off at 2pm on Sunday, May 4, and will also be shown on Sky Sports.
The Magpies are already set to feature on TV in several of their forthcoming games, with the game at Leicester on Monday, April 7 and the home fixture against Manchester United on Sunday, April 13 both scheduled for Sky Sports coverage. These games are followed by a trip to Aston Villa on Saturday, April 19, which will kick-off at 5.30pm and again be shown on Sky Sports.
It means that after next week's game with Brentford, Newcastle's next four fixtures will all be shown by the broadcaster.
