Ruben Amorim is probably thanking the timing of the international break if the latest injury reports coming out of Manchester United are any indication.
Manchester United went into the break when they were starting to build momentum with positive results and performances but their team was being stretched to its limit.
Ayden Heaven’s injury vs Leicester did seem like the straw that broke the camel’s back so the break came at the perfect time.
That feeling has been reinforced as Ruben Amorim has received a double boost for the first game back after the break, with positive updates emerging on more players.

Man Utd double injury boost for Nottingham Forest
United begin their international break with a fixture list straight out of a baptism of fire, facing surprise Premier League outfit Nottingham Forest away from home.
Games against Newcastle and Manchester City sandwich the two Europa League quarterfinal fixtures against Lyon.
Therefore, Amorim needs all the help he can possibly get right now in terms of personnel and that’s exactly what he’s set to receive.
More United News
The Manchester Evening News reports that along with Mason Mount, who made the bench vs Leicester but didn’t come on, Harry Maguire is also set to return vs Forest.
Maguire was not risked vs Leicester and this game was targeted for his return all along, a return much needed since Ayden Heaven is probably out.
There’s a positive update on Heaven too, however, as he’s out of his protective boot and there’s a chance he participates in training in the lead-up to the game.
One player who will return to training is Kobbie Mainoo, his participation in the game depends upon how he comes through time on the training pitch.
There isn’t any update yet on Leny Yoro or Luke Shaw but Amorim sounded positive about Shaw before the break while the club has always been careful with Yoro.
Man Utd injury update
The upcoming two months at Old Trafford could well be the last for many of these players or the start of a new era that begins with Europa League success.
After this latest round of positive news, the Man Utd injury update looks a lot less daunting, especially with Patrick Dorgu also set to return to league action after serving his three-game ban.
As it stands, if Heaven returns to training, United will just have Amad, Leny Yoro, and Altay Bayindir on the sidelines, with Tom Heaton also aiming to be fit by April.
Fans are entitled to feel worried because the last time United had time on the training pitch, they suffered a triple injury blow, including a season-ending issue to Amad.
Lisandro Martinez is the long-term absentee who should be back before the end of the year but for the most part, Amorim should finally have options to choose from again.
