Everton’s Armando Broja opens David Moyes’ eyes with eight-word message after masterclass for…

Armando Broja might be able to stake his claim in David Moyes’ side when Everton play again.

Broja would certainly be described as unlucky in his footballing career so far after continuous injuries.

That’s certainly been the story for him whilst on loan from Chelsea, as the striker has only made six league appearances for Everton.

When he has played, Broja has left Everton fans impressed, as he might be able to convince Moyes if he can stay fit.

Well, what Broja has said recently may give Moyes a real eye opener to where he can fit him into the lineup.

Everton’s Armando Broja sends David Moyes message after masterclass

Although he’s only played two games during the break, it will no doubt help with Broja’s fitness.

What will also help is his performances, as Albania fans were delighted with Broja vs Andorra.

He might have played well, but it was his position that certainly raised questions as Broja played out on the right wing.

You’d think it’s unfamiliar for Broja, but the 23-year-old claimed in a post-match interview that he can thrive away from striker, potentially giving Moyes some thinking to do.

“The coach gave me freedom during the match so that the opponent wouldn’t know where I was on the field. In the first half, I created. I enjoy scoring a lot of goals,” Broja said.

“The goals will come, but I’m happy that I’m back physically and the victory came.

“The coach makes the decisions about who plays. Today, he decided to play me on the wing. I can play in any position in attack.”

Broja has one more chance to impress Moyes at Everton

It’s unknown whether the Albanian will sign with the Toffees permanently in the summer, but at the moment, you’d point signs to it being unlikely.

Moyes probably won’t want to spend a fee on a player who has proven to be unreliable through injuries, which is no fault of his own.

However, with this new position, Broja might be able to convince the Scotsman to change his mind.

Broja won’t be part of Chelsea’s squad next season, so it’s in Everton’s hands now whether they want to keep him on.

It’s up to Broja now to prove his worth and ultimately stay fit, and maybe Moyes might consider his transfer.
