FC Barcelona are set to face Osasuna in their next La Liga game. This game was set to be played a few weeks ago, but the death of Dr. Carles Minarro caused its postponement, and it was later rescheduled to be played on March 27th, only a few hours after the end of the March international break.
The Blaugranes had been far from happy with the selection of this date for the tie, as some of their players would have been unable to participate in it with very little break between their national team matches and this game.
Meanwhile, the selection of this date was also far from ideal for Osasuna, as some of their players were also playing for their respective national teams in this break.
However, as Mundo Deportivo has reported, the Pamplona side has recovered one of its biggest offensive threats two days before the game against Barcelona. Ante Budimir, who represented Croatia in the UEFA Nations League tie against France during this break, has returned to train with his club coach, Vicente Moreno.
Meanwhile, some other important Osasuna players are still away from the club. This is the case for Boyomo, who is still training with Cameroon and is set to play against Libya tonight. On the other hand, Bryan Zaragoza, who has caused the Blaugranes a lot of misery in recent years, is continuing his recovery process.
To replace these absent players, Moreno called up three youngsters from the youth academy, including Pablo Valencia, Jon Garcia, and Asier Osambela.
