Colonel Chris Hadfield, the first Canadian to command the International Space Station (ISS) and a global icon in space exploration, recently posted a delightful moment from the International Space Station (ISS) on social media. In a video shared on X, Hadfield showcased fellow astronaut @Astro_Wakata, who is inside the @JAXA_en module aboard the ISS playing Baseball. Hadfield, known for his engaging and entertaining presence, humorously acknowledged Japan’s passion for baseball, saying, “Japan plays great baseball!”
Hadfield’s ability to bring the wonders of space to the public has made him a beloved figure around the world. His efforts to make space accessible and awe-inspiring to millions have rekindled the same sense of wonder that gripped humanity when we first set foot on the Moon.
