Liverpool forward reportedly‘unhappy’at the club as he seeks a move out this summer

According to reports, Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez is unhappy with his situation at the club and is in search of a move away in the summer.

Darwin Nunez’s stay at Liverpool has been a very bumpy ride. Since making the move to Anfield in the summer of 2022 for the highest transfer fee paid by the Reds in history [£85 million] expectations were very high of the Uruguayan.

However, the the centre forward has been below par a lot of times and his returns are not what was desired when the Reds splurged out the money for his services.

The Liverpool forward left feeling unhappy

According to reports, the anguish for Nunez is reaching an all time high. With the striker left feeling very unhappy at Liverpool and is seeking an exit once the current campaign comes to an end.

Reports also have it that his dissatisfaction was worsened following the falling through of a proposed move to the Saudi Pro League in January.

The club eventually opted out of discussions for their No. 9 even though it appeared that they were willing to part ways with the striker.

The Reds ended all negotiations for the player, having considered the state of their squad and how they needed to get a replacement immediately.

The outcomes of that decision have left much to be desired, with LFC knocked out of the FA Cup and Champions League while suffering defeat in the Carabao Cup final.

This season under Arne Slot, Nunez has been a bit-part player finding starts and appearances quite tough to come by. Nunez has started just eight times in the Premier League this term.

With the current campaign reaching its conclusive phase, the striker seems set to be the first player to leave. AnythingLFC on X, reports,

“Liverpool are willing to sell forward Darwin Nunez this summer. He’s unhappy with his role in the team and clubs from Saudi Arabia are interested.”
