Everton continue to make further changes behind the scenes on Merseyside.
An interesting summer awaits the Toffees with The Friedkin Group looking to make their first real splash in the transfer window.
However, the Everton owners are putting measures in place ahead of the summer to make sure they are as effective as possible
Everton have just appointed Eric Williamson as their new director of the board at Goodison Park.
But there is more work still to be done, with one departure already being announced earlier in the year.
Kevin Thelwell will leave Everton at the end of the season when his contract on Merseyside comes to an end.
With this exit already confirmed, the Friedkins are looking for a successor to the 51-year-old.

Everton target Dan Ashworth in talks over FA role
The FA have already responded to Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite frustration amid speculation surrounding the defender’s future.

Although The FA have provided what Everton want to hear in regards to Branthwaite, the latest news will not be to Everton’s delight.
According to The Telegraph, former Manchester United chief Dan Ashworth is now in talks over a return to The FA.
Everton have shown interest in Ashworth as a potential replacement for Thelwell this summer.
The 54-year-old is in talks over a major role in The FA, with talks beginning prior to Thomas Tuchel’s first two games as the England manager.
Everton have been warned against appointing Ashworth, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe admitting there was a real personality clash at United.
But this does not seem to be putting The FA off him as he looks set to potentially make his return to St. George’s Park.
What those at Manchester United said about Ashworth
Everton have been eyeing Ashworth since late last year, with the 54-year-old targeted months before Thelwell’s future was decided.
The recent interview with Ratcliffe did not suggest there was much of a relationship between himself and Ashworth.
But some sources had told BBC Sport that Ashworth remained incredibly professional, but it was just not a fit that worked for the club.
Ashworth is not the only option, though.
Everton are targeting David Weir as a possible appointment this summer, but face the challenge of prising him away from Brighton & Hove Albion.
