It's a day to remember for Yang Min-Hyeok, who made his senior international debut off the bench in South Korea's World Cup qualifier against Jordan on Tuesday.
The young forward, still only 18, entered the fray at half-time for Lee Dong-gyeong as the teams battled out a 1-1 draw in Suwon in the third round of Asia qualifying for the 2026 finals.
132 caps further down the line, skipper Heung-Min Son provided the assist for Korea's opener with only five minutes on the clock, swinging in a corner that was dispatched by Lee Jae-sung. However, Jordan levelled through Mahmoud Almardi on 30 minutes, and that's how it stayed.
Korea remain top of Group B in the third round of Asian qualifying. The top two progress straight to the finals - Iraq can move into second in the group, one point behind Korea, by beating Palastine later today. Korea then face Iraq in their final round of fixtures in June.
