Chelsea pair Axel Disasi and Ben Chilwell “will be sold” at the end of the season, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The two defenders were part of Enzo Maresca’s first-team squad in the first half of the campaign. However, they were very much on the periphery of the Italian’s plans before being loaned out in January. Romano says both could leave on a permanent basis over the coming months:
“Chelsea’s idea is to sell Axel Disasi this summer. It’s over for him at the club!”
“I’m told it’s over between Ben Chilwell and Chelsea [too], so he will be sold in the summer.”
Disasi has been playing regularly for Aston Villa
The centre-back made the switch to Villa Park at the start of February, and he has been used on a regular basis by manager Unai Emery, who has started him in 5 of the 6 games he has been eligible for so far.

Disasi was unable to face his parent club when the Villans took on Chelsea last month and he was cup-tied for the FA Cup matches against Tottenham and Cardiff.
If he continues to start matches, there is a good chance that his current team will want the Frenchman on a permanent deal.
Chelsea may found it harder to shift Chilwell
The former vice-captain’s future is less clear-cut. He has yet to start a Premier League game since joining Crystal Palace and the Eagles would have difficulty agreeing personal terms even if they wanted to sign him this summer.
Chilwell takes home £200,000 a week and he will still have two years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge in June. Finding a suitor for him may be a challenge if he isn’t prepared to take a serious pay cut.
