Zubimendi is expected to play as holding midfielder alongside Declan Rice. He can be a perfect replacement for both Jorginho and Thomas Partey. He will be looked upon as long-term investement by Mikel Arteta. Gunners were also said to bring in one more midfielder along with Zubimendi. They were linked with Bruno Guimaraes but it will prove very hard to sign him.
