**Bees winning streak comes to an end after a well fought battle at The Nest against Norwich City in the Division One South East League.**
The sun was out and the crowed was singing as the game kicked off at The Nest on Sunday afternoon.
From the get-go both teams started the game off strong, working hard to fight for most of the possession and gain an early advantage.
The hosts were able to break free in the opening minutes, forcing Bees keeper Tia Ginn to make an early save, keeping the score level.
As the game continued to push on, Hailey Hoare stepped up to take a free kick for the Bees from the edge of the box.
Striking the ball with great accuracy, her chance looked destined to reach the top right corner, but Norwich goalkeeper Sarah Quantrill reached far to make the save.
Just moments later, Megan Burrows received the ball from outside the box following a Bees corner, she struck the ball with power, forcing Quantrill to pull out another brilliant save to deny the Bees.
With half-time soon approaching, Sam Lanza charged down the right-hand side, forcing her way through with the ball into the box, slotting it into the bottom left hand corner, giving London Bees the advantage heading into the break.
**Half-Time: 0-1**
The second half kicked off and the game was suddenly turned over, with the hosts taking kick off and driving the ball towards the goal, Natasha Snelling netted the ball in the back of the net, levelling up the score.
Minutes later Norwich took the lead, as Ceri Flye leaped high to reach the ball from the corner, heading it past Ginn in goal, making the score now 2-1 to the hosts.
Now behind, the Bees continued to push on forward and find a way to make the game level and try to salvage a point.
Dan McKimm made some changes in the half, hoping to turn the game back around into the Bees favour.
With only minutes left, the Bees had a chance to break through into the Norwich box, but the ball went too far wide and resulted in a goal kick for the hosts.
The referee blew the whistle for full-time, the Bees put up a strong fight throughout the game against a tough opponent, but sadly the winning streak came to an end.
