Big 12 Leading Scorer to Announce NBA Draft Decision

The college basketball transfer portal opened on Monday, and the UCF Knights have already seen five departures. One key piece of the Knights' offensive attack whose future was still up in the air was junior guard Keyshawn Hall.

The George Mason Patriots transfer had a breakout year at UCF, leading the Big 12 Conference in scoring, averaging 18.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.

Hall's scoring prowess and offensive versatility have intrigued NBA scouts, but his inconsistency on the defensive side of the ball has some questioning how high his stock could be.

UCF ranked dead last in overall defense and finished 7-13 in regular-season conference play. The Knights defeated the Utah Utes in the first round of the Big 12 conference tournament. They were ultimately bounced in the second round by the Kansas Jayhawks in a thrilling overtime heartbreaker.

Now ESPN Draft analyst Jonathan Givony has reported that Hall will declare for the NBA Draft. Depending on feedback, he could still return to play his senior season. Whether that would be in Orlando or a place with a more handsome NIL package is to be determined.

UCF has accepted an invitation to participate in the College Basketball Crown. Look for Hall to showcase his talents and improve his draft grade heading into the 2025 NBA Draft.

The Knights will take on the Oregon State Beavers in the first round of the postseason tournament in its inaugural year on April 1, 2025, airing on FS1.
