The New York Knicks will host the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night, and neither team will be playing at full strength. The Mavericks have nine players listed on their injury report, including Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving, who are both out. Meanwhile, the Knicks will be without both Jalen Brunson and Miles McBride.
In order to give them some added depth in the contest, the Knicks announced a roster move before tipoff.
Selected 25th overall by the Knicks in the 2024 NBA Draft, French wing Pacome Dadiet only has 15 NBA appearances, mostly in garbage time.
He has spent most of his rookie season with the G League Westchester Knicks but got the call-up before the Knicks play Dallas.
The New York Knicks Recall Pacôme Dadiet from the Westchester Knicks
— NY Knicks PR (@NY_KnicksPR) March 25, 2025
In 20 games in the G League, he has averaged a solid 12.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. He is only shooting 27 percent from 3-point range and 40.2 percent from the floor, which is a big reason why he hasn't been given much NBA playing time this season.
He is a high-level athlete and has an NBA frame, but he is very, very raw and doesn't exactly have the trust of the coaching staff, which has severely limited his appearances this season.

If he can spend this summer honing in his shot and learning to be a smarter defender, he could crack the rotation next season, but for now, he has already been included in his fair share of trade rumors.
