GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Add a little fur to your NFL Draft party and make it a “paw-ty.” A local animal sanctuary is asking for help fostering animals during the Draft.
The Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary is a mile south of Lambeau and during the Draft it will be incredibly busy around their building. They’re reaching out to the community for help.
They want to help increase people’s capacity to care for their animals and they really want to help these animals get some love during next month’s draft.
Action 2 News spoke with leaders at Happily Ever After and their goal is to not paws operations when the Draft comes to town. In fact, they’re looking to get animals into loving homes, and what better way than to invite them into your home to foster while you watch the Draft.
“There’s no cost for somebody to participate. Our foster program always sets up in such a way that the supplies are covered, the medical costs are ones we take care of as a part of our adoption program, really. A team of foster mentors lined up that will really be there as a sounding board for you as you go through your foster journey,” said Marcus Reitz, HEA’s Director of Branding and Development.
If you’d like to help, you can fill out an [application online](https://www.heanokill.org/foster.html) and the team at HEA takes it from there, making sure they set you up for success.
