GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Shavon Revel Jr. is projected to be draft somewhere in the 1st- 3rd round of this April’s 2025 NFL Draft. His path to getting there has not been an easy one...
After two years in JUCO football at Louisberg College, his GPA was 2.0. Few schools would offer him at that level until East Carolina gave him a chance that off-season, in a move that would greatly benefit both parties.
He posted 3 interceptions, 2 touchdowns, 12 passes defensed, and 71 tackles over 24 games, until his season was prematurely ended this season after tearing his ACL.
This Tuesday, he wasn’t able to run at pro-day but was able to bench press and talk to the dozens of scout that came out to see him and his teammates. Revel says the mental aspect is most important in the process. “You got to be a dawg,” he echoed.
The NFL Draft will be held in less than a month now, on Thursday, April 24th in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
