It's a big week for concerts at PHX Arena, the temporarily-named home of the Phoenix Suns and the Phoenix Mercury. On Tuesday, country pop star Kelsea Ballerini takes the stage. Friday night, the stage belongs to comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan.
Add in home Arizona Diamondbacks games at Chase Field on Thursday and Friday, and it means a lot of people will be looking for parking. Here's what you need to know if you're traveling to the PHX Arena (formerly known as Footprint Center).
PHX Arena parking areas
The PHX Arena Garage is a parking structure attached to the venue. The Regency Garage at 40 N. Second St. places fans closest to the convention center and WNBA Live. The Jefferson Street Garage, located at Third and Jefferson streets, or the open-air lot just west of PHX Arena on Jefferson Street place you nearest to the arena.
Around downtown Phoenix, there are a number of parking structures. The city has partnered with ACE Parking to create an online portal where fans can check parking prices and reserve spots at 14 downtown locations.
How much is parking at PHX Arena?
On the city's online portal, parking prices range from $9 to $73. Street parking rates are $1 to $1.50 per hour.
What if I don't want to drive?
Tickets for PHX Arena events include free rides on the Valley Metro Light Rail starting four hours before the events and lasting through the end of the transit day. If you don't have an event ticket, a one-day light rail pass costs $4. If you're riding in from the east, your stop is Third and Washington streets. If you're coming from the west, get off the train at Third and Jefferson streets.
