CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - According to ESPN, Russell Wilson has signed a one-year deal worth up to $21 million with the New York Giants.
Wilson had previously visited with the Browns earlier in the month in Berea, and left Cleveland the following day to visit the Giants.
Wilson was a free-agent after spending the 2024 season in Pittsburgh where he threw for 16 touchdowns, 5 interceptions and had a completion percentage of 63.7 percent.
The Giants also recently signed former Browns quarterback, Jameis Winston. Winston agreed to a two-year, $8 million contract with New York after spending the 2024 season in Cleveland.
Winston started in seven games for the Browns after Deshaun Watson tore his Achilles, and threw for 2,121 yards, 13 touchdowns with 12 interceptions.
The Browns currently have one healthy quarterback on their roster, Kenny Pickett.
