Everton are going to be a very busy club this summer.
It’s been a whirlwind past few months after Sean Dyche departed the club and was succeeded by David Moyes.
The Friedkin Group made a big call to appoint Moyes for a second spell, but it was been an inspired hire.
Moyes has guided Everton to safety, and that will soon be mathematically confirmed.
Work has already started ahead of the summer, with Everton set to be one of the busiest Premier League clubs. Everton recently confirmed Angus Kinnear as their new incoming CEO, and the expectation is that a new director of football will soon be named as Kevin Thelwell’s successor.
Several players are set to leave, with many out of contract and some unlikely to return after their loan spells.
It will be a big job for whoever comes in to replace Thelwell. But Evertonians will hope that TFG will get it right with the appointment just as they did with Moyes.
With the transfer window a few months away, there is now word of what Moyes is planning to do – and it will leave fans excited.

The i Paper has reported on the state of play at Everton, and made some interesting suggestions about the coming summer.
Essentially, the club will be able to spend more freely, with TFG having restructured Everton’s debt and the club’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR) position having eased significantly.
There’s an interesting line at the end of the piece relating to what Moyes is intending to do in the summer window in terms of player recruitment.
It is stated that Moyes is understood to want to bring in Premier League-quality players.
But more excitingly, according to one insider at Goodison Park, Everton are currently ‘prowling around players that would surprise you’.

‘Players that would surprise you’ is an exciting claim, and hopefully Everton will be landing some top players in the first summer window under TFG.
All the indications are that Everton can release the purse strings a bit more this summer.
With the move to the new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock and the club set for an exciting new chapter, hopefully players will be looking at Everton a little differently this summer.

This is a huge important first summer under TFG, and hopefully some exciting yet smart additions will be made.
