Jarrad Branthwaite’s future at Everton has become a huge talking point during the international break.
David Moyes will soon welcome his international players back to Finch Farm ahead of their next Premier League outing against Liverpoo.
A number of Everton players have been involved for their countries over the last week.
However, Branthwaite was not selected for Thomas Tuchel’s England squad in the German’s very first team selection.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed another impressive campaign on Merseyside, with his omission raising some major questions.
There has even been the suggestion that Branthwaite may have to leave Everton in order for him to catch the attention of the new England boss.

Everton have high asking price to sell Jarrad Branthwaite
Amid the speculation, Everton are not looking to sell Branthwaite this summer despite the interest coming from across the Premier League.
The 22-year-old has formed a solid partnership alongside James Tarkowski to provide Moyes with one of the league’s top defences.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
According to iNews, Everton have not lowered their valuation of Branthwaite from last summer.
Everton are keen to hand Branthwaite a new contract and hand him a much improved salary for his efforts.
But if the player is to refuse a new deal then the question will arise as to whether Everton may have to sell.
And it is claimed the Toffees will be looking for a fee in the region of £80m to even open up a conversation.
Branthwaite did play for England’s U21s squad over the last few days, but that is not what he is aspiring for.
However, the likes of Eberechi Eze should be an example for Branthwaite that he does not have to move to a bigger club to earn a senior call up.
Losing Branthwaite would be a huge blow for Everton
This summer is set to be a huge one for Everton both on and off the pitch.
The Friedkins are expected to back Moyes in the summer transfer window, with a number of Everton players to depart at the end of their deals.
And then there is of course the historic move to Bramley-Moore Dock.
Branthwaite has said he wants to lead Everton at the new stadium, but the reports over his future after the England decision may have put a spanner in the works.
Losing a player of Branthwaite’s importance would be a huge blow to the Friedkins as they look to really push the club forward this summer.
However, it would bring in significant funds and provide Jake O’Brien with an opportunity to return to his more natural position.
