Jack Grealish has been told to quit Manchester City and join Tottenham, with a summer transfer 'nailed on'. Grealish, 29, has endured another difficult season at the Etihad, failing to score a single goal in the Premier League.
His lacklustre form saw him left him out of Thomas Tuchel's first squad as England manager, with plenty of competition in the wide forward areas. Injuries stunted his progress earlier this season but despite being available for all but two of City's games in 2025, all three of his starts since the turn of the year have come in the FA Cup.
The former Aston Villa captain still has two-and-a-half years left on his contract but he's being tipped for the exit door this summer. Former Watford striker Troy Deeney believes that Tottenham would be a good fit for Grealish, who's been 'left in the cold' by boss Pep Guardiola.
"I think it's nailed on that he's going to leave now," Deeney told talkSPORT. "I've said this before, I think Pep Guardiola's one of the best coaches we've ever seen. But I don't think he's handled the Jack Grealish slash Kevin De Bruyne situation well this year at all. I think he's left them in the cold."
Deeney went on to say that a move to north London, could see him get the regular football he so desperately needs: "He will have to leave and I don't think he wont be short of suitors but I think now it's a massive situation for him.

"He may have to lower his expectations in terms of wages and where he's playing but you could definitely see him going to somewhere like Spurs playing week in, week out and trying to move them up but for Jack it's about staying fit and playing consistently."
Tottenham were interested in signing Grealish back in 2018 after Villa missed out on promotion back to the Premier League. Spurs' offer of £25million was rejected, however, and they refused to pay the Villains' asking price of £40m.
Three years later, after shining for Villa in the top flight, City stumped up a record £100m to prise him away from his boyhood club. Although Grealish has won six trophies during his time in Manchester, he hasn't lived up to his price tag and missed out on the England squad for Euro 2024 last summer.

Earlier this month, the 29-year-old was spotted with friends in a social club before images emerged of him on a night out in Newcastle the same evening. Guardiola responded by saying that he'll judge his players for what they do on the pitch, saying: "A day off is a day off.
"They have private lives to do whatever they want. I'm not going to control what they do in their private life. I judge what I see on the pitch, the training sessions and the performances in the game."
