Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap is not the only centre-forward who is currently on Chelsea’s shortlist.
Delap seems to be Chelsea‘s priority, with the 22-year-old being heavily linked with a summer move to Stamford Bridge.
In fact, it has actually been claimed that Chelsea could land Delap before the Club World Cup kicks off in June.
Going into the summer transfer window, though, the Blues do appear to have alternatives to the England U21 international.

Chelsea keeping an eye on Fiorentina’s Moise Kean
Fiorentina and Italy star Moise Kean is the latest striker to be linked with a switch to west London.
According to La Nazione, Chelsea are monitoring Kean, who has a €52m (£43m) release clause in his contract.
The same outlet claims that Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are also tracking the Italian, so Chelsea are unlikely to get a free run at him.
Interest in Kean does not come as a surprise, with the 25-year-old really impressing at Fiorentina this season.

In 34 appearances for the Italian club, he has scored 20 goals. Fifteen of those have come in Serie A, so he has been very reliable for Raffaele Palladino in the league.
If Chelsea do not land Kean or Delap, another No.9 they could sign is Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray.
Chelsea remain interested in Osimhen after trying to sign him in the last summer transfer window, though they are wary of Paris Saint-Germain and their financial muscle.
Like Kean, the Nigerian is also having a great campaign, netting 26 times in 30 outings.

Moise Kean’s Premier League struggles
A move to Chelsea would see Kean return to England after his unsuccessful spell with Everton.
During his time at Goodison Park, the Italy international scored just two goals in 32 Premier League appearances.

He was young then, however, and not exactly playing in a free-flowing attacking team. Under Enzo Maresca at Chelsea, things could turn out much differently.
