Manchester United expect the main building at their Carrington training complex to reopen before the start of the season.
Contractors are working seven days a week and doing overtime in an effort to have the £50million refurbishment ready for when the players return for the start of pre-season training in early July.

United are still working under the assumption that the drastic redevelopment will be finished on July 31 - when the team are in the United States for their three-match pre-season tour.
Regardless of the two target dates, the contractors are confident the new building will have fully reopened in time for the start of the new Premier League season on August 16. A source said United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe knows the contractors.
The swimming pool and gymnasium are still operational so players can use both facilities. The vast gym hall is located on the left wing of the building and can be accessed via a side door.
United first team players have been using the expanded academy and women's building since pre-season while the main hub is upgraded by architecture firm Foster + Partners.
A model of the new Carrington building is on display at the entrance to Foster + Partners, who have also designed the proposed 'New Trafford' stadium.
The 'dead space' of a balcony overlooking the training pitches will be converted into a vast communal area and a second tier will be added near the entrance. The design is focused on creating "more space for collaboration and innovation among players and staff".

United left The Cliff and moved to Carrington in January 2000, having identified the land for their new base in 1996. The state of the training facilities were pilloried by Cristiano Ronaldo in an incendiary interview with Talk TV that led to his departure from the club in November 2022.
The swimming pool area and canteen were refurbished three years ago, with £9.1million invested into improving the quarters of the academy and women's teams. United installed tiered seating in the players' meeting room at former manager Erik ten Hag's behest at the cost of £200,000 before the 2022-23 season.
Parking space has become so limited at Carrington that an overflow car park was introduced opposite the entrance to the training ground earlier this season. However, that is already too small and visitors are often having to park half-a-mile away on Birch Road.
