England have recently taken to the pitch for the first time under the reign of Thomas Tuchel as they attempt to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

Over the last five days, The Three Lions recorded a 2-0 win over Albania, followed by a 3-0 win over Latvia.

However, they aren’t the only England side to be doing well, with the Lionesses currently sitting in second place in their UEFA Nations League group.

Sarina Wiegman’s side are set to face Belgium in their next fixtures of the group stage after beating Spain and drawing with Portugal.

As such, the national side are calling on four of Manchester United’s womens team, which comes as no surprise.

The Red Devils are having a fantastic season, sitting in joint second place in the Womens Super League and are through to the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

United’s defence have managed to hold off the opposition impressively well, recording a league-best for least goals conceded with only nine in 17 games.

As such, United defenders Millie Turner and Maya Le Tissier have been called up to the England ranks to hold the back line.

Alongside them midfielders Grace Clinton and Ella Toone have also joined the national team to strengthen the middle of the pitch.

Toone has already scored four goals since returning from injury, with Clinton thriving since returning from her loan spell with Tottenham Hotspur.

England will be hosting the Belgians at Ashton Gate on Friday 4th April, playing their away fixture on Tuesday 8th April.
