Real Madrid left-back Fran Garcia rejoined the squad in training this Tuesday having recovered from the physical problems he picked up during the match against Villarreal. Garcia completed the session with the rest of the group as most of Real Madrid’s players make their way back from International duty.
Garcia’s presence will be crucial during the next few weeks as Ferland Mendy is still out with a muscle injury. Camavinga has been more than solid when deployed on the left side of the defensive line, but Garcia will likely be Ancelotti’s option to replace Mendy during the team’s next games, including the first leg of the Champions League Quarterfinals against Arsenal.
Mendy and Ceballos are still working hard to recover in time for that game, but their availability seems more than questionable at this point considering that the will need to log some minutes before that match to improve their form and conditioning.
