Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso has already spoken about the possibility of reported Liverpool transfer target Jonathan Tah leaving in the summer. The Reds have recently been credited with an interest in signing the centre-back when the transfer window opens.
Bayern Munich were previously interested in signing Tah last summer, with the defender choosing to remain with the reigning Bundesliga champions.
The 29-year-old's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, meaning he is able to speak to clubs outside England about signing on a free transfer in the summer. It's not just Liverpool that have been linked with a move for Tah, but also Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur.

The speculation has led to Alonso being asked questions about the centre-back's future and whether or not he expects to have Tah in his squad next season.
Alonso addressed the speculation back in December, where he outlined why he was not concerned about the rumours centred around Tah's future.
"I'm not worried about that at the moment," Alonso said about Tah's future back in December via Marca. "We're happy that Jona [Tah] is with us this season. His attitude is top notch, he has a big influence on our game. We need him until the very last day. Then we'll see what happens in the future. The summer is still too far away for me."
Alonso also praised Tah's worth ethic amid the uncertainty around the defender's future and frequent links of a potential move away from Leverkusen.
"It's no surprise, we spoke very honestly in the summer," said Alonso. "He is a top-level leader and his level is getting better and better. Now we are happy that he is with us."
