Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has a “problem” to “sort out” around an “unbelievable player” in his Red Devils first-team squad at Old Trafford.
That is according to Manchester United legend Gary Pallister, who highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of one “Rolls-Royce” player under Ruben Amorim.
Some of Amorim’s men are away from Old Trafford on international duty with their respective countries after the start of the March international break last week.
United secured a 3-0 win over Leicester City in the Premier League at the King Power Stadium ahead of the March break and will return to action in April now.
The Red Devils are currently 13th in the Premier League table and United are now only have nine league matches remaining in their 2024-25 campaign.
United have won only 10 of their 29 Premier League matches this season and the Red Devils are 12 points adrift from fourth-place Chelsea in the league table.

Man Utd legend Gary Pallister sends clear verdict to Ruben Amorim over Casemiro
Casemiro has featured sporadically in the 2024-25 campaign for Manchester United and the former Real Madrid star’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain.

The 33-year-old Brazilian midfielder has played 32 times across all competitions for the Red Devils this season and Casemiro has netted three times for United.
Casemiro has been met with criticism both last season and in the current campaign over his struggles at times in the United midfield.
The former Real Madrid midfielder has failed to rediscover his best form during his first season at Old Trafford under ex-United and Ajax boss Erik ten Hag.
However, Casemiro impressed United fans in the Europa League with his stunning performance against Real Sociedad in the 4-1 win at Old Trafford earlier this month.
Speaking to The Daily Express, Gary Pallister suggested that Casemiro’s weaknesses are now being exposed at United, despite his incredible qualities as a player.
“He’s an unbelievable player,” he said.
“I mean, his passing, creativity, he can score you a goal as well. And his experience is invaluable.
“And if we were a better team and had more legs around him, I think you could play Casemiro still.
“But at this moment in time, I don’t think he can get around the pitch like he used to.
“He was always like that Rolls-Royce of a player, passing the ball, arriving late in the box, scoring goals, and being a calming influence on a game.
“I don’t think he can maybe get away with that as much in this present Manchester United team.”

Gary Pallister tells Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim to make a key call over Casemiro
Casemiro is under contract with United until 2026 and the Brazil international has previously attracted transfer interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Italy.
Pallister has insisted that Casemiro’s departure would offload his hefty United wages and allow Amorim to sign players for his system in the summer.
“We need more legs, more energy, and need to be able to adapt to the new system that Amorim’s brought in,” he added.
“So yeah, he is a wonderful player, so it’s hard to sit here and say if you can get rid of him, then it’d be a huge saving in his wages. But that’s a problem for Amorim to sort out.
“He knows the qualities he’s got, he knows what he hasn’t got, and he’s got to work it out in the summer.
“What’s needed? What’s not? And if you’re sitting there on £350,000 per week, then are you going to be in a hurry to move in elsewhere?”
United return to Premier League action on 1st April and will travel to City Ground to face Nottingham Forest, with an 8pm kick-off time slated in the UK.
