Bronny James Goes Viral Amid Continued Criticism Despite Career Performance

Despite being selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Bronny James has seemingly faced nothing but criticism since entering the league.

Though he struggled quite a bit early in the season, people were particularly hard on him over other rookies. This is largely due to his dad being LeBron James and people thinking that he's only in the NBA because of his father's status.

Regardless of if there's truth behind that, he's still an incredible talent. Fortunately for James, he was able to put his talent on full display over the last couple of weeks, scoring a career-high 17 points off the bench for the Lakers, as well as going on to score a career-high 39 points in the G League with the South Bay Lakers.

He then followed that performance with 17 points, nine assists, and six rebounds in his next game in the G League. In fact, he has played so well, that the Lakers have already called him back up to the NBA.

Due to this recent success, James has taken the internet by storm and has done nothing but go viral since his career game. That said, after The Hoop Central posted one of his G-League highlights on X, some fans continued to voice their doubt for his ability as an NBA players.

This criticism is primarily over the fact that they're posting G League highlights, with one fan commenting, "Why are we posting G League?." Another fan also added, "Still waiting for him to do that in the NBA."

Though it's clear he's showing major improvements, some fans still aren't satisfied. Hopefully for his sake, he will continue to play well and put the criticism to bed.
