The Philadelphia Eagles drew up a clear and easy to follow blueprint to winning the Super Bowl in the modern NFL, and at least one top analyst suggests the Green Bay Packers are building out a similar foundation.
By dominating along both lines of scrimmage, the Eagles were able to create a constant barrage of pressure on Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LIX, after riding the league’s most consistently explosive running game to New Orleans.
Could Aaron Banks be Critical Addition for Green Bay Packers?

According to ESPN NFL analyst Benjamin Solak, the Packers are well on their way to building an offensive line that not only can rival Philadelphia’s but set the tone for a similar offense taking root as early as this fall.
“When Banks is rolling,” Solak wrote for ESPN, listing the Packers’ signing of offensive guard Aaaron Banks as one of his favorite additions by Green Bay. “He’s a fearsome run blocker who can pull and be the featured piece of a dynamic rushing game. The Packers have four plus starters along the offensive line now, and if they can secure the fifth spot, they can make an already excellent running game dominant in the way Philadelphia’s was during their NFC run.”
Banks, 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds, is a big bet on potential given his limited playing time in San Francisco.
However, the 27-year-old arrives in Green Bay having allowed just one sack and four quarterback hits in 775 offensive snaps last season, according to Pro Football Focus.
Dropping Banks as a marquee addition along an offensive line the Packers have invested major resources in the past several offseasons could be the key to Josh Jacobs taking the next step and the ground game becoming a focal point of Green Bay’s offense and path to success in 2025, and beyond.
