While the Los Angeles Lakers focus on securing playoff positioning with just 11 games remaining in the regular season, some major news came from LeBron James on Wednesday.
Fans may recall the podcast "Mind the Game," which James started with JJ Redick when he was working for ESPN. The podcast gained significant attention during its first season, offering in-depth conversations about basketball-analyzing the game's ins and outs, from situational strategies to sharing insightful perspectives. However, after Redick was hired as head coach of the Lakers, the podcast came to a brief halt.
Now, James has announced that "Mind the Game" will return for a second season, this time with former superstar point guard Steve Nash, one of the NBA's greatest basketball minds, stepping in as James' co-host. The first episode of the new season will premiere on April 1.
"Yo we back at it, man. Mind the Game, here with Steve Nash, two-time MVP!" James said in the preview video.

It was reported by ESPN that both LeBron James and JJ Redick played an equal role in selecting the new co-host for the podcast, and the duo landed on Steve Nash. At 51 years old, Nash is now retired from playing and last served as the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets from 2020 to 2022.
Nash is one of the greatest point guards of all time. Now, with him joining James on the podcast, they aim to replicate the success of its first season, which averaged over 1.5 million viewers per episode and garnered over 500,000 subscribers on YouTube.
