Swap deal for Osimhen 'unlikely'
United’s plans to sign Victor Osimhen have been fuelled by reports that Napoli could potentially look to into a possible swap deal.
The likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and more Joshua Zirkzee, have all been linked with a move to the Amalfi Coast.
But David Ornstein has shut down the possibility of Danish star Hojlund moving in the opposite direction.
The transfer expert said: “Certainly an interesting proposition, but I’m not sure how realistic it is.
“Manchester United spent £70m+ on Hojlund. My presumption is they’ll be wanting to build with him, rather than bringing in a much older striker in what would be a complicated deal.
"United will raise funds from elsewhere, as attractive a deal as that might sound for transfer lovers."

Liam Delap to United or Chelsea?
Manchester United would be interested in signing Liam Delap this summer.
The former Manchester City striker, 22, has been in impressive form for 18th place Ipswich Town this season, scoring 10 goals.
A move for Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres may be off the cards, opening up the possibility of a swoop for Delap, particularly if Ipswich are relegated.
It is claimed that City included a £40million buy-back clause in the deal, which is thought to be the benchmark other clubs are using to gauge how much Ipswich may demand.
Reds technical director Jason Wilcox is already familiar with the forward's abilities, having been part of the City team that signed him from Derby County in 2019.

Garnacho 'must look in the mirror'
Paul Parker has explained his “massive disappointment” over Alejandro Garnacho.
The ex-United and England defender told SpilXperten: “We can’t keep using the excuse that Garnacho is young. He is not young anymore, at least not in football.

“He turns 21 in the summer and before he knows he will be 30. He needs to understand that and start performing.
“The best players, like Ryan Giggs, were not considered young when he was 21.
“Garnacho might be immature but he is not young anymore, and it is a massive disappointment that he is not performing at all.
“He is not playing like an adult and he is certainly not acting like an adult, and he has to have a good look in the mirror, to tell himself that he needs to stop thinking about being the next [Cristiano] Ronaldo.
“He will never be that, so he has to accept the fact that he needs to work hard to get a decent career.”

Both of them were quickly promoted into Olympiacos’ first team under manager Jose Luis Mendilibar last summer.
Highly-rated forward Kostoulas, 17, has so far amassed a total of six goals and two assists in 33 appearances with the Piraeus outfit this season.
And rising midfield star Mouzakitis, 18, has registered two goals as well as four assists in 30 appearances across all competitions.

Lowdown on Amorim revolution
IN THE modern game, it seems all the best teams play out from the back, writes JOSHUA JONES.
But Ruben Amorim is going the other way - by getting his goalkeeper to hoof it long.

Andre Onana was signed from Inter in 2023 due to his ability to play out from the back.
Yes, there have been some high-profile blunders along the way.
But by and large, Onana is confident with the ball at his feet.
However, the stats show he is being asked to kick it long far more - that passing short when under pressure is simply not worth the risk.
After all, United have lost the ball 142 times in their own defensive third this season - the sixth-most of the 20 top-flight teams.

As reported by The Athletic, Opta stats show only five goalkeepers have done more "launches" in the Premier League this season.
A "launch" is defined as a high ball - 40 yards of longer - into space or an area for players to chase or challenge.
Of those, only Dean Henderson has completed fewer than Onana's 25.8 per cent of 380 punts upfield.
Here's our full look at the keeper's changing role:

Onana's new style - It's a long story
Andre Onana's foot skills were a major reason Man Utd signed him - but he's using them less under Ruben Amorim.
The keeper is happier to clear long more often - and it's no coincidence, according to The Athletic.

Short balls remains the Cameroonian's most common option - but now, over the whole season, only five Prem stoppers have gone long (40 yards or more) less.
But Onana has completed just 25.8% - with Crystal Palace’s ex-United keeper Dean Henderson the only one of the to-five with a lower rate.
It's all down to Amorim's willingness to play with more flexibility.
The boss recently said: “Sometimes we have short goal kicks and then sometimes long balls, because the opponent is pressing a lo
“I try to adapt to the players we have.”

'Ronaldo fan boy' Garnacho has 'lost fire in belly'
Ex-United defender Paul Parker claims winger Alejandro Garnacho is playing with far less hunger that when he joined the Red Devils.
Parker told SpilXperten:"I liked him when he came through and he had that Argentinian fire in his belly, which he has lost completely.
He has let himself and his family down. He has let his club down, because he is not taking advantage of the talent he was supposed to have.
"I am not seeing anything from him. The most important thing for him now is to understand what he is good at and what he is bad at.
"He can't take on people, he is not quick enough and he doesn't want to work hard.
"So, what is he actually good at? He needs to figure that out and show it, rather than just wanting to be the next Ronaldo.
"Because at the moment, to me, he just seems like a Ronaldo fanboy, who would rather make a few highlights to post them on social media rather than winning football matches and make this club great again."

But the London club are still reportedly keen on the 25-year-old despite his drop in form since the turn of the year.

Lingard recently headed to Gwangjang Market with pals to try Korean street food, sharing the results on his YouTube channel.
During the tasting, the midfielder gasped as he saw that the octopus on his plate was still moving. Lingard said: "Why are you moving? I can't eat because I'm scared."
The Mancunian kept repeating that he was "scared", before adding: "I can't do it."
After eventually eating the octopus, Lingard began to calm down.
He then grinned as he said: "It's easy. I was just playing around." Lingard even claimed that the food was "not bad".

Club legend Paul Scholes slammed him for "sulking" in the wake of the incident.
And now ex-full-back Parker has given his brutal verdict on the youngster.
