AC Milan will reportedly look to sign 29-year-old English international Jack Grealish from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Italian outlet TV Play, Jack Grealish is the subject of interest from AC Milan. The Serie A giants are scouring the market for a versatile attacker heading into the summer transfer window. So, the struggling Manchester City forward has emerged as a target for the Rossoneri, with the Premier League champions demanding €40 million to part ways with him.
Jack Grealish has struggled to perform at his best since joining Manchester City from Aston Villa in a mega-money deal worth €117 million in August 2021. The Englishman arrived at the Etihad amid hype and fanfare surrounding him after his exploits for the West Midlands outfit.
However, Grealish has not lived up to the expectations in the last three and a half years, failing to stamp his authority for most of his spell with Manchester City. The 29-year-old has been in and out of the starting lineup at the Etihad this season, managing only 1,319 minutes of game time across 26 appearances in all competitions while chipping in with two goals and six assists.
However, Grealish’s stock in the market remains high, with several well-known clubs across Europe setting their sights on him. AC Milan will be among the prospective suitors vying for his signature heading into the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, Manchester City will have no qualms about parting ways with the English international.
AC Milan’s interest in Jack Grealish is understandable. The Serie A giants are scouring the market for a versatile attacker amid Joao Felix’s struggles since arriving from Chelsea a few months ago.
