Southampton are ready to demand a transfer fee of more than £100 million for Manchester United target Tyler Dibling, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The Red Devils are keen on recruiting the services of the 19-year-old attacking midfielder following his impressive individual campaign with the Saints, and they have been frequently running the rule over him.
However, Man United are not the only club interested in snapping up Dibling, with the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig also keeping tabs on him.
The Old Trafford club will look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season following a dismal campaign, and head coach Ruben Amorim will be tasked with identifying players perfect for his style of play.
Dibling has what it takes to play for Man United, but he is not worth £100m and Southampton will have to lower their demands to get him sold as they prepare for life back in the Championship.
The St Mary’s Stadium club are currently bottom of the Premier League table after picking up nine points in 29 games, but the England youth international has four goals and two assists in 30 appearances so far this term and will not be short of suitors in the summer.
With the likes of Antony, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho expected to leave Man United permanently at the end of the season, signing another attacker is necessary, and Dibling has proven his quality despite just 25 Premier League games to his name.
He can play as a right winger, a striker, a central midfielder and behind a striker, and his versatility would come in handy at the Theatre of Dreams should a move work out.
The teenager will be keen to move to where he can play European football and also regularly, and it remains to be seen whether he will get that at Man United next season.
