Scouts will have been impressed with the 17-year-old who was able to score the winning goal in their game against Portugal.
However, Everton News understands it is not just the Sunderland midfielder who Everton’s representatives had an eye on.
Everton’s people were also keeping an eye on Southampton star Tyler Dibling who is catching the eye of clubs across Europe ahead of the summer.
Although Everton are signing Carlos Alcaraz permanently in the coming weeks, the Toffees are one of many clubs who are doing their due diligence on the impressive talent from Southampton.
Another name on their radar was Chelsea youngster Tyrique George who started the game off the wing.
Southampton value Tyler Dibling at a whopping £100m
Everton are targeting four key positions this summer as they need to add quality and squad depth.
However, they will be up against it if they are to land Dibling who is being tipped for a huge future after his season in the Premier League with the Saints.
According to The Telegraph, Southampton have slapped a stunning £100m price tag on the 19-year-old this summer.
The following clubs have all been linked with the midfielder in the report:
Tottenham Hotspur
Manchester City
Manchester United
RB Leipzig
Bayern Munich
Everton want to invest in exciting young players this summer, but the valuation and competition surrounding Dibling may just be a stretch too far.
