To celebrate their 200th episode, Kyle and Riley were joined by Gale Klappa on this week’s edition of Deer Diaries. Gale is the host of Courtside With Gale Klappa, a weekly Bucks+ audio program where he interviews Bucks players, coaches, front office personnel, and figures from the wider basketball world. He is a fixture of Milwaukee’s business and community life and also a minority owner of the team. They chat about his background, relationship with the city and team, and what led him to Courtside. Then it is on to a discussion on the continuing impacts of GM Jon Horst’s trade deadline deals, Gary Trent Jr.’s resurgence, and Milwaukee’s late-game offense. Finally, a round of rapid-fire questions and the debut of their newest segment: Gallivanting With Gale.
