Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has made NBA history in several ways, including being one-half of the league's first-ever father-son duo. The Lakers drafted the four-time champion's son Bronny James in the second round this past offseason, and the latter player has blossomed recently.
The 20-year-old scored a career-high 17 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 3 PT) with five assists, three rebounds, and one block against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday before amassing 39 points on 67 percent shooting with seven rebounds for the Lakers' G League affiliate on Monday night.
Now, Bronny James could make another NBA appearance against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Lakers recalled the USC alum from the G League after his career night, a sign that they're trusting him more as he improves his game (via Lakers Nation's Trevor Lane). Not long after his news, LeBron James opened up about how proud he is of his son on Wednesday via The Pat McAfee Show.
"For me as a dad, it doesn't matter if he never scores...I'm just super proud of him period as a young man," the 21-time All-Star said.

The NBA's all-time leading scorer added, "As a mentor and as a teammate of his, that wants to see him thrive because I've seen the work that he puts into the game, I'm super proud of his development to where he is now. From the moment that he was drafted to where we are now, his development has skyrocketed."
Bronny James has played 23 NBA games thus far and is averaging 18.6 points on 41.6 percent shooting (33.6 percent 3 PT) with 4.6 rebounds and 4.8 assists across 18 G League contests.
