The "New Heights" podcast, hosted by brothers Jason and Travis Kelce, has become one of the most popular sports podcasts globally. Known for consistently featuring incredible guests, their latest episode saw them interview Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum.
During their conversation, the trio discussed various topics, eventually diving into whether NFL players could transition to the NBA with a year of training and vice versa for NBA players entering the NFL.
"I would venture to say no from both standpoints," Tatum said. "There's a handful of guys in the NBA that if they had an entire summer, or like a year to train, could they make an impact? For sure. But just like drop a guy from the NBA in a game, no shot."
He jokingly added, "I got so much respect for you guys and what you guys do, but there's nothing funnier than watching football guys play basketball, I'll say that."
While all three were largely in agreement, the Celtics organization couldn't resist sending a message to the Kelce brothers, offering them the opportunity to come play anytime.
"Hey @tkelce & @JasonKelce, you are always welcomed to come hoop with us." Celtics posted.

All three have clearly chosen the right sport. While Jason Kelce is now retired from the NFL, he's widely regarded as one of the best offensive linemen and centers of the last decade. Travis Kelce, who briefly contemplated retirement after losing in Super Bowl LIX, is returning for another year with the Kansas City Chiefs and is widely considered the greatest tight end of all time.
Jayson Tatum, on the other hand, is just 27 and continues to soar in his NBA career. Coming off his first championship, Tatum is a six-time All-Star and a four-time All-NBA selection. He has the Celtics right back in the championship conversation with the postseason fast approaching.
