Everton could be set for a productive summer transfer window, with The Friedkin Group ready to sanction a key deal.
The Toffees are in the market for a striker, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin set to leave on a free transfer as it stands, and they now appear to have a target in mind.
David Moyes could benefit from additional firepower in his squad, and he could now be handed a striking option who has impressed in the manager’s home country Scotland.
Rangers star Hamza Igamane has attracted a lot of interest from across Europe this summer, but it appears that Everton have the upper hand in the fight for his signature.

However, The Friedkin Group are reportedly willing to invest the £20m required to land the striker’s signature, who has seen his value skyrocket after just one season at Ibrox, with a record-breaking summer said to be on the cards this summer under the new owners.
Armando Broja is set to follow Calvert-Lewin out the door, and Igamane could be the ideal profile of striker to add to Moyes’ roster, with Beto also impressing in recent months.

Rangers to Everton is a path well-trodden in the past, with players such as Mikel Arteta and Steven Naismith appearing for both clubs.
Igamane could now follow the path of Nikica Jelavic, who joined Everton from Rangers in January 2012, with the Croatian going on to score 21 goals in 69 games for The Toffees.
Jelavic was a more proven entity in Scotland than Igamane, with the Croatian moving to Goodison Park when he was 26 rather than 22, but the Moroccan’s talent cannot be understated.
Igamane has scored 14 goals in his debut season in the Scottish Premier League, whilst Jelavic managed 16 in his, albeit in a more dominant Rangers side.
The striker could be a strong long-term addition, with Igamane still relatively raw, but clearly possessing the finishing ability and eye for goal to develop into a quality option upfront.
