Mohamed Salah to follow Alexander-Arnold out of Liverpool?

Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah could follow Trent Alexander-Arnold through the exit door this summer.

The Egypt international has been in sensational form for the Merseyside giants. He has scored 32 goals and provided 22 assists in all competitions.

Salah has contributed towards 64 percent of the club's goal contributions in the league. The Reds currently have a 12-point lead at the top of the table.

Despite his bright form, Liverpool have yet to convince Salah to put pen-to-paper on a new contract beyond June 30.

Alexander-Arnold, who is in a similar situation, has started talks with Real Madrid over a free transfer this summer.

It appears Salah could go through the same route. He is presently on £350,000 per week and is eyeing a pay rise in future.

The former Roma man would like around £450,000 per week. This is a figure which the Reds are unlikely to match this summer.

Al-Ittihad have been exploring a move for the past 18 months and they could be favourites to sign the 32-year-old on a free.
