Former Green Bay Packers And Jets QB Finds Home With Titans

A couple of former Green Bay Packers quarterbacks have been biding their time in free agency before finding teams to sign with in the offseason.

The Packers have quarterback stability with Jordan Love, who was signed to a four-year contract extension last offseason. Love has led the Packers to two playoff appearances in the last two seasons. Since becoming the full-time starter, Love has thrown for over 7,400 yards, 57 touchdowns and 22 interceptions.

Former Packers quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Tim Boyle joined forces with the New York Jets in 2023. Both are out of the organization after the experiment with Rodgers failed. Rodgers is expected to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers but is waiting to find a culture like the Packers before making his final decision.

The six-foot-four, 233-pound quarterback was initially signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Kentucky in 2018. He spent three seasons with Green Bay, appearing in 11 games and throwing three completions for 15 yards.

Boyle has thrown for 1,210 yards, five touchdowns, and 13 interceptions in his seven-year NFL career.

The Titans now have Will Levis, Brandon Allen, and Boyle at quarterback before the 2025 NFL Draft. Tennessee has the No. 1 pick in the draft, and is a favorite to take quarterback Cam Ward with the selection.
