Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has opened the door to joining Arsenal this summer, according to Fichajes in Spain.
The Sweden international has been in the form of his life this campaign. He has netted 23 goals in all competitions. Just three of those have come from the penalty spot.
Isak recently helped the Magpies win their major trophy in seven decades, but he is prepared to move on when the transfer window reopens.
The former Real Sociedad man is interested in signing for the Gunners, who have monitored his progress from his time in the Spanish La Liga.
Newcastle have yet to set an asking price for the marksman, but Arsenal can expect to pay more than £100m for the highly-rated centre-forward.
Liverpool are also admirers of the striker, but they are unlikely to make such a huge outlay. Arsenal may have a clear run to sign the striker.
Isak considers Thierry Henry as one of his main idols and he seems determined to move to the Gunners at the end of the campaign.
