The 2025 NFL draft is officially less than a month away, and one of the most divisive prospects set to be available is LSU Tigers offensive lineman Will Campbell. There is some concern regarding Campbell's arm length ahead of the draft, which led to a scathing take from the man himself.
Campbell starred for LSU in 2024 at left tackle, earning All-American honors for his work protecting quarterback Garrett Nussmeier's blindside. After his arm length measured at 32 5/8 inches at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, Campbell has faced concerns that his arms are not long enough for him to succeed in the NFL.
"Obviously I don't have stereotypical offensive tackle arms. I'm aware of that. People have to nitpick something. I've heard it all my career. When I was coming out of high school, the college coaches all said the same thing. I proved them wrong. It's something I anticipate doing again," Campbell said of his arm length at the combine.
At his pro day with LSU on Wednesday, Campbell's arms measured at 33 inches, which is still well short of the preferred length for a left tackle of 34 inches. Campbell issued an even more strong response to criticism about his arms after his pro day, saying he does not believe one measurement determines whether or not he's a good player.
"For 2 years, nobody had any measurements on me and nobody said anything about my play. So now all of a sudden, an arm length decides if I'm a good player or not? I think it's BS," Campbell said via Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football.

Despite the concerns surrounding his arm length, Campbell is still expected to be a top 10 pick at the very least, with there being a shot for him to land in the top five if the board falls his way. The 2025 NFL draft is set to kick off on Thursday, April 24 at 8 p.m. ET.
