EFL Analysis have an exclusive update on the future of Middlesbrough midfielder Finn Azaz after Crystal Palace’s scouting mission.
As has become common in recent months, more and more of Boro’s best players are being linked with moves elsewhere.
Emmanuel Latte Lath has already left Middlesbrough this season to link up with Atlanta United in the MLS.
Meanwhile, Hayden Hackney is likely to leave Boro in the summer if Michael Carrick’s side don’t secure promotion.
Fellow star Rav van den Berg could move to the Bundesliga as well if the Teessiders fail to make the play-offs and secure a place in the top flight for 2025/26.
We suggested recently that as well as the aforementioned duo, Middlesbrough may need to be wary of interest in Finn Azaz.
And that opinion has proven to be correct during the March international break, with a few sides now eyeing the midfielder.

Finn Azaz going nowhere despite Crystal Palace interest
Azaz impressed Ireland fans last week when he scored his first senior international goal during a 2-1 win over Bulagira.
The pair faced off once again on Sunday and reports elsewhere have claimed that Crystal Palace watched the Boro man in action and are now keen to sign him.
Another two unnamed Premier League teams are also watching the Irishman whose representative, Will Salthouse, has close ties to Palace.
Palace have been doing a lot of work on Middlesbrough, given their interest in Hackney and Van den Berg.
However, EFL Analysis have now learned that Azaz is going nowhere despite links to the Eagles.

Finn Azaz Middlesbrough stats are impressive
Azaz made the move to the Riverside Stadium in January 2024, signing from Aston Villa on the back of a successful loan spell with Plymouth Argyle.
The 24-year-old had a mixed first six months at Middlesbrough but still scored four and assisted five in the Championship.
Azaz has taken his game to another level in 2024/25 after being played in his natural number 10 position on a more regular basis by Carrick.
