Heading into the break, the Gunners currently sat 12 points behind league leaders Liverpool with nine games left to play as well as setting up a Champions League quarter-final clash against Real Madrid.
The Arsenal players know they’re going to have to be at their highest level if they want to win a major trophy this season. Their form over the international break could suggest that is a possibility.

Norway beat Israel 4-2 on Tuesday night with Martin Odegaard providing three assists during the 90 minutes.
The national papers on Odegaard’s performance: “Worked like a hero. Won balls, served balls and had goal-scoring passes to both Moller Wolfe, Sorloth and Haaland. Norway’s best. The world is amazed by the pictures from Debrecen.”
Martin Odegaard received a 9/10 rating on the night: “Played an absolutely brilliant first half and was at times completely dominant in the Norwegian midfield.
“As usual, Norway’s signal player in the press, and he slid like a hot knife through Israel’s players.
“Brilliant almost every time he had the ball, and recorded his third assist when he elegantly tipped Erling Braut Haaland through to make it 4-1 just before the end – a monster performance from Norway’s captain.”
