Bayern attacking midfielder Pernille Harder and Arsenal forward Alessia Russo lead the way in the race to finish as UEFA Women's Champions League top scorer with six goals each.
Harder, who snared the prize while at Wolfsburg in 2018/19, struck a Matchday 1 hat-trick against the Gunners and added further goals home and away to Juventus and at home to Vålerenga. However, the Denmark forward will now be unable to add to her total after Bayern were knocked out by Lyon at the quarter-final stage.
Russo, meanwhile, scored four times in the group stage - three times across two games against Vålerenga and once against Bayern - before netting a superb double to inspire her team to a comeback victory against Real Madrid in their quarter-final second leg.
Among those lying just behind the two frontrunners include Barcelona's Clàudia Pina, who hit doubles against both Hammarby and St. Pölten, while Lyon's Kadidiatou Diani and Arsenal's Mariona Caldentey became the latest players to reach five after scoring in quarter-final second-leg wins against Bayern and Madrid respectively.
Real's Signe Bruun and Twente's Kayleigh van Dooren also made it to five, but both their sides have now been knocked out.
A group of five players are on four goals: Barcelona's Ewa Pajor, Linda Caicedo of Real Madrid, Lyon forward Melchie Dumornay and Wolfsburg pair Alexandra Popp and Sveindís Jónsdóttir, who scored all four of her goals as a substitute at home to Roma on Matchday 5.
