Barcelona goalkeeper Inaki Pena is reportedly being targeted for a summer move by La Liga side Celta Vigo.
Pena’s future at Barcelona looks extremely uncertain at present after he lost the No. 1 spot to 34-year-old Wojciech Szczęsny.
The veteran is expected to stay on for another season and play back-up to Marc-Andre ter Stegen once he returns to full fitness after a long spell out with injury.
Pena could move on and has attracted interest from Celta, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Celta are looking for a successor to 38-year-old Vicente Guaita and have Pena on a three-man shortlist along with Alaves stopper Antonio Sivera and Almería’s Luis Maximian.
It’s not clear yet what will happen with Pena but it looks difficult for him to stay on at Barcelona after effectively becoming third choice.
A move away and the chance to play regular football looks the best option, and he may not lack for offers this summer.
