Broncos Bring in Bo Nix’s College Teammate for Pre-Draft Visit

The Denver Broncos are trying to add as many offensive playmakers to their offense as they can, heading into the 2025 season.

During free agency, the Broncos didn't go after any wide receivers or running backs, but they did add veteran receiving tight end, Evan Engram.

With defense being the main focus in free agency for the Broncos, they've decided to look for playmakers in the NFL Draft to surround Bo Nix with.

According to Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette, the Broncos are bringing in Oregon tight end, Terrance Ferguson, for a pre-draft visit.

Ferguson is a Colorado native and grew up in Littleton and played high school football at Heritage high school. Since Ferguson is local to the Broncos, he will not count as one of the team's top-30 visits.

During his college career at Oregon, Ferguson played in all four seasons, and his numbers improved every year. As a freshman, Ferguson only caught 17 passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns, but those numbers nearly doubled as a sophomore.

In his sophomore and junior years, he had Nix throwing him passes after he transferred from Auburn.

In his two seasons with Nix, Ferguson caught 74 passes for 805 yards and found the endzone 11 times.

Last season, Ferguson had a career year in yards by going for 591 yards on 43 receptions.

At the NFL Combine, Ferguson ran a 4.63 40-yard dash which was the fastest time among all tight ends out in Indianapolis this year. The former Oregon Duck also put up a 39-inch vertical.

Ferguson has also made it known that he remains in contact with Nix and still has a great relationship with him. Many are expecting Ferguson to be picked at the earliest, third round.
